The Wine Estate Policy
Dear Guest, welcome to Hilltop Wine Estate! We wish you a pleasant stay, a relaxing break, and many memorable experiences. All staff members of the Wine Estate do their utmost to achieve these goals; however, the cooperation of our guests is also essential. For this reason, we ask you to observe and comply with the rules set out below. By using any of the accommodation’s services, guests acknowledge and accept the provisions of these House Rules. The House Rules are freely available and can be reviewed at the reception, in our rooms, and on our website.
CHECK-IN:
Guests receive a room key, for which the registration of the guest(s) staying in the room is required. Registration means accurately completing the registration form and verifying the guest’s identity. Presenting a valid identity document is considered an essential contractual condition by the accommodation provider. Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. In the event of losing the room key, the Wine Estate will charge a replacement fee of HUF 10,000 per key. The cost of returning a stolen key shall be borne by the Guest.

On the day of departure, guests must vacate the room with their luggage and belongings by 11:00 AM and return the key received at check-in at the small hall counter. In the event of late check-out, the Wine Estate is entitled to charge an additional fee. Guests are required to settle the fee for their stay at the Wine Estate in the manner specified in the contract no later than before their final departure from the Wine Estate. If payment is refused for any reason, the Wine Estate is entitled to retain the guest’s belongings brought into the guesthouse and enforce its lien over them. In the event of departure without payment, the Wine Estate will enforce its claim against the guest through legal proceedings, in addition to filing a police report, and the costs of such proceedings shall be borne by the guest. Any subsequently incurred and unpaid fees will be charged by the Wine Estate to the guest’s bank card.
TOURIST TAX:
Tourist tax is a tax falling within the competence of local municipalities. Municipalities decide on its introduction and rate at their own discretion, taking into account local characteristics, the financial management requirements of the municipality, and the tax-bearing capacity of taxpayers. The law only determines the maximum rate of the tax. According to tax legislation, tourist tax is payable by any private individual over the age of 18 who is not a permanent resident of the municipality concerned and spends at least one guest night within its administrative area.
